High academic achievement is a long and proud tradition in this school district. In the area of state testing, our District has consistently performed in the top 1% of Districts for more than a decade. However, state testing is but one measurement in the District. Rigorous assessments, either created by the District or purchased from other sources, are given to students throughout the year. These scores inform our instruction and our practice, as do student work samples, informal observations, and a myriad of other practices.

The Essential Outcomes are the guiding force and a powerful lens we use in the district to shape our programs, guide our instruction, and direct our resources, all in the service of helping our students become well educated people of good character who are ready and eager to contribute their talents and skills to the world.
